scrap rod blank needed.

I'm building a rod for a friend and need a piece of scrap blank about 28"-30" long to extend the blank I have. It needs to have a hole .55" or just a hair smaller and taper larger. This is gonna have to be a large rod, just wondering if anyone has a busted rod Layin around.
