Normally this time of year I am seeing much more rain than we usually get but that is not the case this year. What do you think the current weather pattren will do for the Pheasent population?

We've gotten a lot of rain especially in the last month. Seeing the normal roosters but haven't seen many hens. The few hens I've seen so far have not had any chicks with them. Have only seen a handful of early quail chicks and no turkey poults.
So my prediction is this year's hatch is decimated

ive been seeing tons of quail families,.... sad part is all of the families consisted of only mom dad and 1 chick,...

Recipe for birds and lots of them, dry spring,wet summer,lots of bugs for high protein diet,takes moisture for lots of bugs.
