It has been a few years since I've had a smart phone. I just got the Samsung Rugby Pro with the Android operating system. I would like to know what you think are the best most useful apps for your phone.   I saw Loki the other day and he happens to have the same phone. When i looked at just the free apps there seems to be several makers for things i need.
Some things i know i'll want are GPS mapping, Craigslist, gas finder(mostly need diesel) etc.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I like shazam, weather channel, wells fargo (literally never have to go to the bank with the mobile deposit), flash light , alaska air, etc I even have an app for my DSLR that allows me to shoot time lapse, pretty cool app.

I have a pretty awsome "fart" app.  It generates fart sounds at a push of a button.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

The fart apps are great, especially for someone with a childish sense of humor like me.  I was busting up a couple of kids at a restaurant one time, parents weren't that amused.

Where's My Droid is crucial if you ever misplace your phone.
Astrid is a good task list (for keeping track of when things are due)
GasBuddy is a gas finder

Google Sky Map is fun :)

I'll think of some more later  :)

You'll like Gas Buddy.

The camera is pretty decent in these as well.  Took this today.

I also use Marinetraffic.com which gives positions and tracks plus other info for most commercial ships/tugs and ferries using Puget Sound.  Also some larger pleasure craft have transponders.  It is nice when out there in the fog since I don't have radar.

Backcountry Navigator makes a good GPS mapping app.  Sat photo and topo maps are downloadable, thus, available when out of cell range.  $10 when I purchased.
