The return of the inflatable crabber
« on: July 05, 2013, 07:48:40 PM »
With other commitments and tide times, I had to wait until today to inflate the raft and set out for the first crabbing session of the season.  Started with a 1.5hr soak and pulled this:

Set the pot back out for another hour and got 3 more.  11 on the first day.  I did puncture the raft though and had to do an emergence patch job with duct tape when I got back to the dock and my oldest knocked my knife into the water but, I'm still pretty happy.  I'll buy a new raft tomorrow and go out at low tide and get my knife back.

I love red rockers, but only the legs. Nice!

Missed yesterday and will miss tomorrow but should be going back out tonight.  Raft has a patch on it now and is holding air.  Going down at noon to see if my knife is still there.  Doubt it but, we'll see
