once you narrow down your price range, take the lot and go to http://www.chasingame.com/  I have found this site really helpful in the past.  Good reviews are done, and no bias.  from my experience, cheap cameras have 3 main weaknesses; sensor range, battery life, motion blur at night.  just get the best you can afford but realize that some times having two ok cheap cameras is better then 1 nice camera; at least for scouting an area for animals.

p.s consider a camera with AA not c's or d's, although its the opposite of women. AA's are better (because of cost to replace) in the long run.

Just checked my stealth cam 5.0 yesterday... after 80 pics, complete white out shots. No more viewable shots.

Rogers has sell on Wild Game Innovation Micro Red 8MP cams for only $69.99.  I have a couple Micro Red 6MP and a buddy has some Micro Red 4MP cams, and they work great.

Purchased one from Costco a couple years ago and it stopped working the second day I had it out. Took about 150 pics and that was it.

Well I decided to go with the Primos Truth 35 from Wal-Mart for 78 bucks. I had it pointed at a trail and had it moved from the trail to up the draw, I did get a spike after it got moved. Here is who moved it and the before and after pictures.

Ok PA, I'm stumped. Did you get more pics from this set. That one pic at first glance looks to me like a panther. What is it?
