My brother was having problems with his CCI caps last elk season so i gave him a remmington fire on first shot, well it ended up being his nipple was old. I would check the nipple

I've been using RWS Dynamit Noble caps for years, had too many issues with CCI and Remington's. I also use an Uncle Mike hot shot nipple that is a little longer so I always get a solid hit. I shoot a TC Hawkins one on .54 and one in .50 and 3FFF powder.

 CCI #11 MAGNUMS cant say as I have ever had a miss fire when using these on any of my guns  left them on my    45 cal  pistol for two years and still went off like clock work.  on the  inline it works pretty darn good on both 2 f and 3 f powder with no hangups .When shooting the  traditional side hammers  never a problem even in a pitch fork rain
