5x5 elk found this week
« on: October 19, 2008, 03:10:30 PM »
In GMU 328 during deer season.  Laying on top of each other.

Is there any way to get the coloration backed after they've been bleached like that?

Dandy set of 5 points, there is something cool about a big 5 point bull imo.

A freind of mine uses American stain and a rag and feathers it out towards the end giving the "ivory tip" appearance. I honestly couldnt tell that he had done anything to them.  Looked awesome.  Nice find by the way.
Vegetarians?..Vegetarians are cool.  All I eat are vegetarians....except for the occasional mtn. lion steak.
