Primos 35
« on: July 21, 2013, 09:51:03 PM »
Does anyone else have trouble with the Primos 35's taking dark pics in a low light environment?  It seems to work well in the open areas or at night time, but in the forest where it's a little darker most of them are very dark and I can't make out the animal most times.

Yes, same problem. With both the Primos 35 and the 46. They work great if set up in an open area. But in the woods I get a real dark picture, then the next picture will often be taken with the IR flash, and will be good, other than being in black and white. To try to make up for this shortcoming, I set them for 1 picture and a 5 second delay, rather than doing a 3 shot or 5 shot burst. Doing it this way I at least get a good picture every other time, with only 10 seconds between them. I prefer to just use them in open areas, like clearcuts where it's either light, or it's dark, and they work fine.
