Anyone have any pictures or names of the types of plants elk like to eat?

I am too lazy to take and upload a photo of my lawn.  :chuckle:

They are primarily grazers earlier in the year and tend to switch to browse later in the season. Other than grass, I've seen them munch on flowering plants, sword fern, old man's beard (that sea green moss that hangs under old growth trees) and even pumpkins in Puyallup. Usually I see them eating soft green plants generally. I dont think they have any shortage of food until later in the season.
I never learned from a man who agreed with me.
