Exhaust and muffler question.
«
on:

I needed a muffler on my truck and so I bough a thrush tubro muffler. I put it on and it sounds great but its still really loud. I was thinking about getting a thrush glasspack. Will that make it louder? I have never done a exhaust before. The pipe is 2 inch.
thanks

you can put a glasspack behind the muffler you have as a reisinator just make sure that the lovers are facing forward to reduce sound , that will tone it down a bit . 70 series muffler are much quieter that may also be a choice.

Look up a corvair turbo muffler. They might not make them any more. That's what we used on our jeeps. They had a deep throatier sound, but wasn't obnoxious.
