Pinks to the shipwreck?

Haven't seen any reports of numbers into the possession/shipwreck area. That's usually when I'm heading out. No real numbers of bank or boats on the Snohomish either. 

Anyone seeing them as far north as Kayak/Warm Beach heading to the Stilly?  I'm going to take a couple of days to fill the freezer but will hold off until we have some improved numbers.  WDFW fish counts for Everett/Mukilteo are not very exciting through last week.

They are on the west side of Whidbey.  I'd give them another week before they start showing in any numbers at the shipwreck.

Yeah, there are a few around, but the "fill the freezer" schools are still probably two weeks out.

No real numbers of bank or boats on the Snohomish either. 


Thereason you aren't seeing many fisherman on the Snohomish is it does not open until tomorrow 8/1 up to hiway 9.  Then it opens 8/16 on up river from hiway 9.

my reports say there is a huge mass of pinks off lagoon point (west side of whidby)

A bit late this year but once they start showing you can expect at least a couple weeks of action before the rivers become the spot for some.

Go to the Skagit ..they are thick ...hell my kid has been catching them by accident for weeks now .... I need all the humpy eggs I can get !!! So I may need to club some in the head  :chuckle: :tup:
