Fog and I couldn't pull the trigger on a huge blond...
« on: August 03, 2013, 07:11:28 PM »
Hiked in 4 miles over treacherous terrain with a friend of mine named Alex....

It was mostly fog and no visibility.

Then we spotted this huge blond. It was beautiful. I just couldn't pull the trigger...

I just couldn't do it.

It would have been such a shame.

I was able to snap a pic. It was kind of blurry, but still an OK pic.

Joking aside...

The picture of the Huge Blonde was a picture of a Pica, see google:

https://www.google.com/search?q=animal+pica&client=firefox-a&hs=LlB&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=RNP9UYynG-H2igL98oGYBg&sqi=2&ved=0CD8QsAQ&biw=1232&bih=845

Seriously though, we hiked, camped, glassed, did some predator calling, glasses some more, saw some bear scat, but didn't see any bruin.

Maybe next weekend.

Peace.

Pikas are fun to watch. I love to see the big mounds of vegetable matter they build up for the winter. Keep pluggin away....awesome scenery.
