Evergreen State guns to roar at Thursday ‘Freedom Shootout’

It’s going to be a noisy afternoon and evening at the Evergreen Sportsmen’s Club near Olympia tomorrow when the Freedom Foundation hosts the first annual Northwest Freedom Shootout, an event that promises to attract gun rights activists and serious shooters from throughout the Puget Sound region.

This was a fantastic event; it may become an annual event.  It was great fun shooting trap and mingling with lots of good people.  If you went to this one, you have probably already decided you will go again.  If you didn't go, you  really missed out and should definitely plan on going to the next one.

Olympia ‘Shootout’ lays groundwork for more gun activism

Last night’s noisy first annual Northwest Freedom Shootout south of Olympia laid some important groundwork for gun rights activism over the horizon, while providing an opportunity for “gun people” to enjoy one of the activities that their movement is all about.
