Three Forks Moose Tag
« on: August 15, 2013, 11:43:19 AM »
I got drawn for a three forks tag!!! Finally heading up there the next couple weekends to do some scouting. Most of the folks I have talked to said check out the east side of the unit. Anyway, any direction or ideas of places I could look would be apprecaited. Anyone have this tag in the past? Honestly I dont know much about the unit, 49 degrees was my first choice but I couldnt be happier, 16 points later. I have a friend thats taking me flying up there in september so that should help.

Hopefully I will get to add some nice pics from the scouting report.

Congratulations on the tag.  Had the 49 Degree tag last year with16 points. Regardless of the area, you'll have an awesome hunt.

Congrats, Pm sent, had the unit last year.  Fun hunt, but a lot harder to find moose than others I have hunted with friends.
