Calling for coons?

 I saw a couple of coons when I was deer hunting last week. Now that the season is over down there Ill be chasing some yotes this weekend. My question is can you call a coon in? And if so what call(s) to use? Im thinking they would make a great addition to the room of doom, as my wife calls it. Any help would be most appreciated. BTW this is the first time Ive seen coons down on this place and Ive hunted it off and on for the last 6 years. Why are they there now?

I called in two coons last spring, using a "close" mouse call...but I guess I was kinda in the zone already...meaning, they were under my deck and they came cruizin in when I blew it. I have heard they come into normal predator calls...not sure why they are at that spot now...must be some food there that wasnt before.... :dunno:

A few of my neighbors have them coming in and eating the cat food, they get all pissy about them but refuse to let me arrow them. I put out some food for them but I guess my labs are not as big of push overs as the cats. I have only seen them once but the neighbors said they have been around for years, sneaky little bandits.

Yes, coons come to a call very easily, call at night or dusk, use a red lense and they come best to a distressed bird call.  They can be fairly aggressive when they do respond.

we try to squal at them when treed and there "supposed" to jump outa the tree but i aint ever seen it happen
