Had this one progressing for next week, but I turned up a crack in the purpleheart bell.
Let's throw it out there for outright sale.
I didn't finish turn and polish the innards like it deserved after I found the crack. It's fully belled, but not with the precision care that a lam has when it's perfect, and not internally polished. The inside is sealed with CA to fill the crack. The crack is also filled on the outside. It should be quite stable, but it's also quite noticable.
Amboyna Burl with a Quilted Maple Lam, and a Purpleheart Bell. Spaced with white carbon.
