That blows.  Try to find comfort in knowing you're not alone.  Thieves suck, carma's a B.

Hunting last weekend and came across two different trail cameras (neither one my own, as I do not own any yet).  Was careful not to get photographed, left the cameras alone, and got out of the area as I didn't want to screw up somebody elses setup.  The woods are big enough, I don't need to screw up other peoples areas by hanging out in an area somebody is watching.  Would have been real easy to take them I am sure, but morality and ethics kick in.  That is the problem, not enough morals or ethics today!!!

Chances are the thief knew he was on private property and knew he wasn't suppose to be there. Then knew he got caught on cam and stole the cam to hide his identity. I found one way back last weekend on public property, kept walking thru and sure it took my picture or the dogs but I don't care.

Just wanted to add to the rant... Went out today and was checking my cam and i noticed it had been moved about 20 ft to a different tree.... but looked all set up.  opened her up and of course the card was gone. if you are going to steal my crap why move my camera? and why not steal the whole damn thing... Do not understand why that happened. on the plus side about 30 minutes later i blasted the bear I had been trying to catch on that camera! so HA I win thieves :D

I have ran across a couple cameras and I always have a little fun with it. One time I  belly crawled across the ground in front of a camera and the other time I made weird faces in front, but never would I consider taking or damaging a camera.
One time I dressed my younger cousin up like an alien and made him walk in front of my uncles trail camera  :chuckle: it was funny when we went to check cams the next day  :chuckle:
