Had a great day catching some fish.
« on: September 18, 2013, 05:46:31 PM »
Had the day off work and decided to call a friend of mine and ask if he and his little brother wanted to go out fishing. We got a late start out of kingston and headed across the pond to Edmonds and the oil docks. Put the rods down and had the first fish in the boat after 20 minutes. We were fishing small 1 3/4" green glo hootchies behind a flasher 24 inches, (My favorite coho medicine). Depth we fished was between 70-120ft on the downrigger cables. The action really picked up around 9am and we had two doubles in about half an hour. Both times losing one fish at the boat. We stopped fishing at 11 and ended with five Coho and one nice sized pink. The two biggest fish were 10 pounds and 8 pounds. Lots of fun and my buddy and his little brother caught their first salmon, they are hooked!

Nice fish! Too bad my boat is in repair and out of action right now or you may have seen me out there too!
Fish hard, hunt harder!
