Now that early archery elk has ended, and since I'll be starting classes Sept. 23rd, which will most likely interfere with late elk and late deer, it's time to hook up the trailer and head back into the woods for a few days, in an attempt to tag a deer. I've figured, at the most, I'll get 4 days of late elk/deer to hunt. I'll head out this evening or very early tomorrow morning.
I've decided to hunt the same area I was elk hunting. Seemed to be some very nice bucks in there so we'll see if I can get one to cooperate!
