Wacked out blacktails
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:16:25 AM »
Just saw a deer while walking my dog about 200 yards from my porch. For some of you that might not be strange but I live in a bustling area. Good thing she didn't get waffled by the cars and ran into the green belt. Must be rut time here. Maybe I should walk my dog with my longbow in tote  :chuckle: 454 is any deer right j/k

I work in Everett near the Boeing plant and we have been seeing a 2pt. and a doe walking down Casino Blvd.  and surrounding areas.  It is hard not to want to drive over him!  I have to keep telling myself not to take my bow to work!

I just live in the same area DeKuma, and I know there must be some deer in those green belts, there are some big swaths of forest that go right down to the water. With a bow I would go after them...

My wife has pics of a buck in full velvet just up the road from the plant.  Between my office and Boeing, about 4 miles, there are a ton of deer I am sure.  I have seen them several times and see the tracks in the dirt on the sidewalks of all places.
