Nice rifle in a good all around caliber. Might I inquire about the cost?

New they run from 650-700 depending on where you find it.  I found this one on gunbroker.com lightly used for $425 which makes it even better.  I have a real hard time paying full price for a rifle so I buy most of my rifles used.  Add 25 for shipping, tax and an FFL fee and I am in it $525.  (not including scope) but it did come with base and rings.

You didn't get hurt on that deal

It is a sharp lookin rifle for sure .

BEAUTIFUL rifle, I own a model 11 lightweight hunter in 6.5 creedmoor myself and I agree, the designer of savage rifles needs a pat on the back.  Wood + stainless looks awesome by the way.

Next one will be a 6.5 creedmoor :dunno:.....is that better??

Now we're talking!

The 270 is a great caliber, it's just boring, like the 30-06. Versatile calibers like that make it harder to rationalize new guns. :chuckle:
