There is no need for anyone to have to defend Icicle Outfitters as they are a top notch outfit. I know Dale personally and he is an up front legit guy. I would back up their outfit any day. A lot of the guys that hire them don't want their photos spread all over the internet which is certainly their choice. For someone to go off questioning their success and clients satisfaction is just a matter of jealousy. Many of their hunters chose where to go so its not a matter of them putting a camp on someone else's. Many are repeat clients that hunt the same area for many years. They do a lot of trail work and trail work support of which we (at least those who get away from the roads) should send them a word of thanks. :twocents:

The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

 :yeah:
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

just a thought, would the high hunt be a place to impose a 4x4 rule.   I have done the high hunt and passed up many 3's.    mike w

The 4 point rule wouldn't hurt the harvest rate much.  Might worry about the big rack that doesn't have the points; pretty easy to mess up a hunt that way.  Like Mike's archery buck (photo); nice rack but only a 3x3.
