I was wondering how elk act in heavy wind  no trees sage brush country?

Usually steep canyons and slopes out of the wind if cold.  Might bed in the wind when it is hot.  Pretty spooky in the wind, hearing and scent senses are less effective.

a what i was thinking was hunting thiis weekend over by windfarm off old vanaage hwy mh area it blew like heck yesterday didnt see nothing
