Deer quality 2013
« on: October 10, 2013, 02:49:41 PM »
Just curious how everyone did so far. I hunt the Snake river and wheat fields.  We all got deer. They were all decent 3pts.  I did not see the quality of deer, like I usually do.  The weather was stormy the 1st couple of days. I am not sure if that was a huge factor.

We only saw one "big" buck in the LT Murray area. I blew smoke at him and he stood there laughing :chuckle: as I merely imagined him falling over. Then, to make his triumph more obvious, as I began frantically reloading he slowly turned away and sauntered permanently out of view. Alas, I was not to be denied my revenge! I then shot his tiny, but legal, brother. :IBCOOL: Next year I'll remember to see my sights (instead of his rack) when aiming. Next year!!! :EAT:

Top of food chain - Nice pics, especially your 10 year old. I like to see kids getting out and a nice deer is a bonus. My son is 20, he got his 1st deer at 10 as well. We have not missed a season since. Keep up the good work.
