Alvey 45 c1

 I picked  up a semi used Alvey 45 c1. Works great I love how you can cast it and just how basics they are to use. My question is can I use brained line on it?  Will it cast different with brained then mono?I kinda wanna use it for stergeon fishing and maybe bottom fishing westport and sea perch fishing.

If Mono works, so will braid. Should have no issues.
