Opening day

Just worked 7pm-7am last night took about an hour nap now I'm up in my tree stand hoping my hard work pays off

This is my first year out in Northwestern WA. Is it like trout season, where opening day is crazy crowded and tapers off fast after that, or is it constant? I found a real nice place to hang out with no other hunters around, but the deers didn't know I was coming,, cuz they didn't show up.
