Need some help with a photo
« on: October 16, 2013, 11:30:09 AM »
So I have this cool picture from this deer season I took with my phone I would like to blow up and frame and give to a guy that has helped me out a TON. It is of him and his son and the 5 bucks we took opening day. Would anyone be able to help me out with cropping, touch up and stuff like that? I just want it to look as best it can because I'm really grateful to this family. Thank you in advance.

Posting the pic will help people be able to tell if they can help.
If you can't post it, email it to me....benjamin_rj@msn.com and I'll post it for you.

I would maybe trim a little off the right side to center the guys more.  What else were you wanting done to it, because it actually looks pretty good as is...

Can the color be touched up or brightened? It seams gray to me. It would also be nice to get that cigarette out of the picture.

Yea you can touch it up easily yourself by down loading free Picasa its pretty easy to use. Make sure when you take it in to have it enlarged it is at it highest pixel size so they can get you the largest photo and not too grainy. Congrats on some fine animals!!

Oh man I tried the picasa download. Way too many options I could mess with this thing for days on that program, plus I think I have a terrible eye when it comes to this stuff. Probably doesn't help I'm color blind :bash:

Go back into your add/remove programs, sort by "date installed", uninstall anything from today (if Picasa was the only download). I had the same issue with "free" programs like that. They work great as phone apps, but don't download them on a computer  :bash:

It's very easy, doesn't mean it has no adware.. which is exactly what it did to my computer after installing it too.
