382 Bucks
« on: October 16, 2013, 07:02:25 PM »
Post up any 382 bucks from this season. Seems to produce a lot of unique bucks. I saw a forked horn that almost made me cry he was so big..

We had a great time. We agreed any legal buck would do and The main goal was to get my friend mike on a deer. He's from Mississippi and has never hunted outside of a tower blind. He wasn't convinced you could kill deer still hunting through the oaks or spot and stalk and he was really doubting after a few blown stalks. But he was loving it when it was all said and done.

About two minutes after splitting up on Sunday these bucks ran up with a bunch of does. The does busted me and they all started scattering. The bucks were last and hasn't caught on yet. I was about to shoot the little 3pt then saw the bigger forks bobbing behind him. Confirmed he was legal and dropped him in his tracks at 100 yards with a 30.06. The smaller three ran right at mike and he dropped him with the .270

All tags were punched immediately and hunter orange was worn for the hunting but not for the dragging 300 yards to take photos. We thought we had mt Adams in the background but guess not.

My buck.
