Good looking bow. Weight looked like it was in line with the current spyder. Looking like folks are going to have some options out there for carbon bows.

I didn't think Hoyt could make their carbon bow any uglier.  Boy was I wrong ;)  Looks like they drove over last years model one too many times with the truck.

Carbon Turbo looks interesting. Not enough to get rid of my vector turbo though. Not going to pay $1400? for a few oz's of weight. Rest of the lineup is same old, same old.
At least Bowtech is changing things up by going to plastic risers! :chuckle: :tung:

I thought the bow tech bows were overpriced! Guess i'll be keeping old faithful for awhile longer.

I'm betting if that bow was released by a no name new company Archerytalk would be filled with posts on how ugly it is and how over priced it is for the speed you get.  Amazing how that Hoyt logo can effect peoples vision.

I will admit it!  I am a hater of bows that cost more than $1,400 and give nothing in return other than social status and hype.  Don't really care whose name is on them.  ;)

Waiting to shoot a few of the newer bows before giving you a response.  That paycheck is burning a hole in your pocket I take it :chuckle:

Successful commercially available compound with shoot through riser I think was "York".  Successful commercially available compound with true center shot riser I think was PSE.  Just like wildcaters in rifle manufacturing nothing we see today is really new other than that ugly carbon riser (as far as I am aware).  Louiselle, Kudlacek and many others were way ahead of the game on shoot through compounds.

I think both the new PSE and new Hoyt's are copies of a Don Kudlacek model if memory serves me correct.  Cory/xXx would know more about that than I would though.

To late...........I browsed the catalog online and am still content with my Spyder 34. Brother in law just picked up a Charger and robin hooded an arrow just getting it set up and dialed in.

Keep up with D-Rock........not gonna happen....I won't even try.

And it cost him less than five bills   That's a good bow and priced better than the performance would dictate. I'm surprised they didn't drop it from the 2014 lineup ;)

It is....great bow for the price. He is set up very well and spent less than I did on just the bow. Needless to say he is pretty stoked and I'm looking forward to watching him bag something with it next season
