Please help
« on: October 18, 2013, 08:04:25 PM »
Hi everyone.

I'm former Air Force and lived in WA since 2009. Three years ago I started getting back into hunting and needless to say I have not had any luck. Either small or big game. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or just going to the wrong areas. Any advice on hunting methods or areas will be greatly appreciated.

Capitol Forest has a little bit of everything but you have to get away from the roads and be patient. Be there early and wait til you feel like you can't wait anymore and then wait some more. If it's a decent clearcut there will be a deer, coyote, or bear in there somewhere. We've watched several deer in the same cut with a bear working the berries before. PM me if you'd like with specific questions and I will try to help. Good luck!
