i had this happen with an ocean acidification survey a couple years ago. I told them and hope you did too that its none of there business.

They do what they want and if we stop them they go around the obstacle and continue.   Our rights eroded and we fight it but have we really stopped it?  More specific what has Obama been stopped from doing?  I cant think of one?  2nd amendment be damned-its just a piece of paper to them.  We know they violate it and data collect whatever they want.  NSA ring a bell?  The huge data storage building built recently in Virginia(I think thats where) had people talking.  Forgotten now.  Whats it for?  NSA?   2 forms of Fed. Gov. exist, the public and the secret.  Deny one to further agendas of the other while protecting themselves.

I think you were headed in the right direction. They have my phone number so really how unanimous can it be? Not that it will do a whole lot of good, but my wheels are turning, I might send an email or two out to my local and state reps. Since this survey was being ran by Washington Department of Health but overall being coordinated by the CDC maybe representatives at the State and Federal level should be notified?
