If I had to guess by the background I would say shady pass area Or somewhere around the tripod burn.  Just a guess from what I see

Congrats to your bro! I asked Nicole when I saw the pic and she told me who he was. Thnx for the help w/ the scope. Not sure if u heard yet, we got Nicole on a buck and she put the hammer down on it... not a bad lil 3x4 for a first buck.
