Does anyone know of a fur buyer for eastern washington? I thought at one time there was a guy who came up from Portland, but I don't know his number.

Thanks

George Brady in Pateros.  Do a search on the subject, and his number will pop up.

I think Eric Degman is gonna buy fur this season. Also think he is buying fur in the round, as in unskinned. He is in Wenatchee. I'll check w him and he can post info.

Yes I buy fur. DBA : Glacier View Fur. I buy skinned or unskinned. I also sell raw and tanned fur. I'm the WSTA Chelan and Douglas county rep. So you can find my number on a WSTA list somewhere.

Price?

Gringo,

I am assuming you want to know prices paid for furs? There is no way any of us can answer that. The fur market is just like any other public market and at times a heck of a lot more sensitive to the current world economy. Supply and demand, primness, size, color variations and damaged pelts are just some of the other factors to consider.

Last years prices were some of the best in recent years. I don't think any of us are going to quit our day jobs but our averages were pretty good. Do you have a particular furbearer in mind?

It's been a few years since I've sold any.  It's a pain. Freezer space is the biggest factor with a every other month pickup.

I shoot a few dogs, was looking to see if they at worth skinning or just making a pile for the ravens.....
