How do I call Blacktails?
« on: November 10, 2013, 12:25:46 PM »
This may have already been brought up, but my question is a little different than the first...
I have hunted on this 75 acre piece of land for three years, only seeing the occasional doe, and lately, nothin at all. In my neighbor's yard and around I see multiple 3 and 4 point bucks, as well as many spikes and forked horned bucks. But I NEVER SEE ANY WHILE HUNTING!!! :bash: The property next to the one I hunt is like a reserve. There are deer everywhere, but the owner loves deer and hates hunting. What calls or rattling can I do to lure bucks or ANYTHING over to the property I hunt?  :chuckle:
I have tried rattling and mineral blocks. Each with no luck. Anyone know what to do?

Go to the property line and squirt some doe in heat on the ground and then lay a scent trail to where you want him to go  :dunno:   Notice how I said Squirt ...do not trespass  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Gotcha. I'll remember that. There's no fence... I shot a buck in my front yard and it wondered onto her property, leaking blood all over the place. I had to ask her if I could go get it... She actually did let me!!  :IBCOOL:
I'll try the urine. I hope it works!

Yeah, someone already told me to do that. If it works for so many people, it ought to work for me!  :yeah:
