I personally watched 3 get shot, they were not members of my camp though, my guys all had cow tags.

No kidding! I've heard 3 shots in 2 days on the Manastash?! Haven't seen, smelled or heard an elk yet! Nothing hanging in any camps either?? Very odd... maybe too warm? Tried to snow up near Quartz today but stopped and then melted. With my cow tag I hoped to have at least seen a cow by now

Slim picking where I hunt. we saw one group of elk opening morning, had a 1x2 in the herd. saw two true spike mule deer bucks!

A buddy of mine is hunting in the Ellensburg unit.  He said the camp next to him has taken 3 spikes.  He hasn't connected on an elk yet, but he did kill a cougar.     A few more elk and deer will be happy about that.

We got one yesterday,  and one today.   My buddy missed this morning and the wife  almost pulled the trigger yesterday morning.

He's still after his elk and his cell reception is spotty at best.  I'll see if I can get him to get on here and post it up.  If not, I'll see if I can get his permission to post it.  He said it was 8' nose to tail.

I know one guy that killed one. Two of my other buddies were hunting the colockum and had a herd get pushed by them with 4 true spikes that wouldnt get out of the cows. The only spike that gave them a shot wad a 1x2.
