Norse Peak wilderness Elk Down
« on: October 28, 2013, 03:04:07 AM »
Here is my elk I shot Thursday evening Up at Crow Basin. 100% boot hunt,I turned down a 5 point ten minutes into opening day and didn't get another chance until this one. Six friends and family met me at Scout pass to help back out. The weather was once in a lifetime easy. Never saw any other peaches ridge hunters.

Before you go tell everyone and their hunting partner, there are no elk in the crow basin area. Thank you.

And by the way, nice bull.

  Good job Pete!
We saw you a couple of times but evidently, you missed us,(must be good camo).Good Bull,
However we have to be careful leaving a antlerless skull right next to the trail at the top of the pass! :bdid:
Their are a lot of anti-hunters and liberals going through that area and we don't want to give them
any ammo to use against us. Way to stick it out!

Yeah I left it there for the coyote that got into my meat sacks while I slept 30 yards away.

Your a hard hunter!! My friend had a Peaches tag and we almost connected with a
