Looking for a Fish taxi-old mount restoration
« on: October 01, 2013, 08:36:33 PM »
so back in 80/81 my brother caught a large sockeye. My dad later discovered it weighed in significantly more then the state record and had it mounted for him. That record still stands  :bash: anyways in 90 he was murdered so of course this fish means alot to me. I still have this old sockeye, my dad had it over his foreplace for many years so it looks awful. it also fell off during the earthquake in 1999, and a fin was busted off.

Id like to get it fixed up, repainted and a new fin put on. I can supply a fin easy its humpy season  :chuckle:

any takers? pricing ideas? the rest of the fish is in good shape id just like it redone, it was in spawning colors originally, so id like it the same, green head red body.

That level of quality is not cheap. Just a heads up so you won't be shocked. Last I checked Dave had a website active. http://www.davecampbellfish.com/home.htm For sure, you will not find a more skillful or talented artist on fish.
Charlie Kirk didn't speak hate, they hated what he said. Don't get it twisted.

 :yeah:

I will second Dave Campbell.  KC have it done right.  He may be a little higher in price but he is one of the best I have seen in the country.  You will not be sorry.
