Which Knight muzzleloaders are WA legal?
« on: November 03, 2013, 07:50:20 PM »
Was looking at some of the older Knights, and wondering which ones are WA legal (or if you know which are NOT legal)

I picked up a Knight Disc Extreme last year. It has the western kit on it. The "western kit" is what makes it WA legal. Nipple exposed. I really like the Disc Extreme cuz the nipple exposure is about the size of a pinky nail. Browse through their site and  it should tell you which muzzle loaders can take a western kit.

The Bighorn is also another one that's legal.

Almost all older Knights can be PacNorWest legal - by using the correct breech plug. The Older Original DISC would need a Conversion kit.
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

Currently have a bighorn

Was looking at the 85 and 95 models

85 looks legal (way open breech), but the 95 not so sure.  I know the surefire would not be, but the #11/musket??  Is the breech "open" enough to be legal?

You know I really do not know that much about the 95. But looking at this picture it appears to have a closed breech

Wolverine is legal, as long as you switch the plug.
