Knight Bighorn
« on: November 06, 2013, 10:40:19 AM »
I decided that I wanted a new Muzzle loader for next year so I went ahead and sold the old and just bought a Knight Bighorn off Gunauction.com. I was hoping to find a thumbhole stock but that can always be changed later.  I have heard nothing but good about Knight's so I'm excited to get it and put some rounds through it.

Put a rear peep on it and it is golden (see other threads)

I actually have a rear peep lying around already that I was considering putting on it. I don't remember what it had came off previously though.

I would suggest a Williams FP peep sight - I also use a Williams ramp, front fiber optic, and a Fire Sight Hood.  With all of this it kinda makes you think you are looking thru a 1X power scope

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

I believe they all are - because you are using the hole designed for a scope base...

This is another example of a peep installed on a scope base of my Knight Ultra-Lite

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

:chuckle:  I had to go back and look at the Williams mount again, I didn't notice the first time, that it used the base mount holes....nice    I may have to try that with my Traditions

Hey, that's my setup!   :chuckle:  I love my NECG peep.  My bull dropped where he was standing at 150 yards this season. :IBCOOL:  I'm thinking about putting on my scope for Bear during late season.
