I got a bobcat I need to laydown. I need advice!
« on: December 21, 2013, 12:44:06 PM »
What can I do to increase my odds of smacking a bobcat? I have one that is periodically killing my chickens. I have a game cam out but have not seen him yet, A friend used scents and got one?

Just trying to better my odds on smacking this little devil.

It'll be tough getting him to commit to something other than a live, squawking chicken.

I'd recommend getting a picture.  Have you seen tracks or otherwise confirmed it was a cat and not a skunk, fox, weasel etc. ?
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Ive seen him in the flesh. I was leaving my property and he was not far from the chicken pen, had no chance to shoot. The last chicken I found dead was ripped in half. I have also seen coyotes and will gladly shoot any of the lot that come in. Just need to get it done.
