If you see a camp with a green army tent and either a green chevy 1500 or a lifted black wrangler stop in and say hey.

We are always there in the late season but the majority of the Little Naches is usually snowed in pretty good so we end up hunting lower. SOme years we get lucky but not many as far as access.

Thanks brian. So it sounds like the jeep might be a better bet than the truck.

If you see the white ford f150 or the big blue dodge 3500 with the stainless headache rack with the bull elk and the archer scene in it stuck in the snow please stop by and say hello with a chain.....LOL :chuckle:

When I used to hunt EA, we always headed there for late, pray for lots of snow !!
Only time I have seen a "migration" was when it dumped so much snow, you could not really get anywhere, a few miles up the roads was it w/o chains.
We actually stayed in the hotel in town,  but there were tracks and trails everywhere, 5 foot wide trails like highways.
it got crazy just before dark, elk were everywhere !!
I did not fill my tag because I lost my mind and was flock shooting at herds, they came out of the woods, and just kept moving.
After that season, we hoped to catch it right again, but was only that one time.
Then I switched back to WA, and get rained on instead...

I 90 or Hwy 12. Usually we can get over Chinook but coming home we usually have to Hwy 12.

Currently 17" of snow at the Morse lake snotel site near Chinook pass. The link is below. It usually decreases the further East you go from the crest. Doesn't look like much moister forecast for the next week, hope that changes.

I will be up there this year. It has been a few years since I was up there for late season.
