Decent 4 point blacktail buck
« on: November 23, 2013, 06:15:34 PM »
This is the fourth year in a row that this guy shows up in an area that I like right after late buck is over. I am very glad every time that I see him come down around the does that I watch along with the younger bucks.

Really nice blacktail Woodman.  Are you still getting bears at the feed sites?

Hi Pygmy, I got your message a day or two ago and have been juggling a lot of thing the last couple of days. I planned on contacting you tomorrow to catch up with you. To answer your question here, I have not seen any bears for about two or three months. I saw some fresh sign about three or four weeks ago in two different areas but that is about it. They seem to have vaporized. I did run into someone that had trespassed in here and told me that he and others were taking bears and elk out with bow and arrows coming in a back way. I truly hope that they are not taking them all. When he saw me with a camera in my hand he got in a hurry and took off.

Side note, I did see another good sized bobcat today. That makes 6 so far this year for me.
