I just bought my own first decoys and they were real cheap off CL but beat up paint wise. So I'm doing this right now as I wanna be able to go out when my friends aren't able to.

I found this site and used it with some success.

Hope this helps. Word of caution though I have yet to see if these paint jobs will pull decoys.

I did the same thing this past fall, bought some decoys from CL and had to touch them up.  We purchased some acrylic paint from the craft store and had to mix the colors to get a close match.  The decoys look darn good, even from the ducks point of view because we have had ducks in the decoys.

I've been using the Home depot "tester" paints.   They're tintable to any color and they're an exterior paint and cheap.  I've been doing divers and geese.  So far tge paint has held up ok.  I also use 12 slot decoy bags so my paint jobs last long.
