Going to be Spokane
« on: November 06, 2008, 01:32:14 PM »
Well my plans have been altered/canx for the late deer hunt, I will be in Spokane that weekend for a Hockey tourney, anyone want to show me around for a Whitetail (meat) animal.  I was really looking forward to a trip in the Olympics for Blacktail this season, but wife' is out of town with my little one so I'll be taking my oldest over for his games.  I would be interested in taking a Whitetail if someone has some good ideals where to go over on that side.  Not sure what the final schedule is for the games...  Would trade for a Sturgeon trip later in the summer....

Modern/muzzleloader/bow?  I'm headed out this weekend, then I may hunt the late bow.

How far from Spokane can you travel, Mike?
There are a lot of places in the area, but I will be about an hour or more NE of there for the next two weekends.

It really depends on the times of the games, but anywhere, it doesn't matter to me.  The schedule should be out for times soon.  Sucks not having the dedicated time off, but the kids games are too exciting to miss.  The level of play of 15-18 year olds is amazing.... If they can keep from fighting and stay out of the penailty box that is.... :bash:

Keep me posted when you know the times. I will be back over there the last weekend as well whether I am successful this weekend or not.
