SBE II, heavy recoil spring?????????
« on: November 06, 2008, 01:40:54 PM »
Have an SBEII, love it, but the spring is so damn light. i don't believe it helps with recoil reduction at all, seems that a heavier spring would be nice for those heavy loads. i have heard of wolfe springs, but was wondering if anyone knows about or has replaced the stock spring with a heavier spring?

I don't know which Surecycle Benelli installs in the SBE, but there are two models; one for light loads and one for heavier loads. I have the SBE 1 and had the lighter one installed so it would function with low base shells and I don't have any trouble with 3"  or 3 1/2" being too heavy in the recoil department.
