Sportsmens show.
« on: December 06, 2013, 10:01:45 AM »
Almost time for the Sportsmens show.   I'm wanting to buy a Yamaha 9.9 long shaft kicker with Tilt/trim and controls.  Should I wait for the Sportsmens show and make a deal or should u pull the trigger now?   Have any of you bought just a motor at the show.  If so what kind of deals did u get.  Thanks for the info!!

I would wait.  I just bought a new boat and a set of yamaha motors and they had a promotion going where they gave you the 6 year warranty instead of the usual 3 year at no extra charge. That promo ended on the 28th of November but I believe it's coming back for the shows.

Go to Oregon and save $$ on tax, plus you can find better prices on Yamahas down there.  I bought my 8hp Yami kicker form Brown's landing in Rainier/Scapoose and saved over $600 over buing it from US Marine in Lacey.
BTW, what are you doing over on ifish?   :chuckle:

Hit them up last day of the show. It cost's a lot of money for floor space. Trust me I know :bash: If they have not done well it is amazing the deals they will make to help cover some of there cost's.
