landowner tags?
« on: December 14, 2013, 07:00:58 AM »
Does anybody purchase landowner tags in Montana, Oregon, Idaho, or Colorado?  Would you mind responding with general information and perhaps a PM.  Thinking about next year's elk season and this might be an option.  Merry Christmas to all - visions of next year's hunting season are already dancing through my head.

Colorado has some good ones. It kinda depends on how much a guys looking to spend. http://landowner-tags-vouchers.com/.  This is we're I've bought quite a few throughout the years and always had great dealings. Dennis is a good person . Just cause you buy the landowner tag doesn't mean there's a bunch of land to hunt. For the most part you buy them to get access to the unit . Utah has some good ones but plan on spending 5 or 6 grand for the lower end tags. There are also cwmu place which are a little cheaper . Ben from trailblaze hunting is OK to deal with. But I've sent money when he said he had a Colorado deer tag and then waited till last minute and called and said he didn't have it. So deer plans were ruined. Dennis is straight forward. If he has it and tells you to send money you will get it. A lot of landowner tags in Colorado are in demand so people start putting down deposits now or at the starting of the year. I like to roll the dice and wait till after the rush. The tags will usually be a few hundred dollars cheaper. But there's a chance you will miss out to.
