Quote
A wolf from Northeast Washington that set up a territory on the edge of the Coast Range was killed by provincial authorities early last week after reportedly attacking cattle.

Known as 017M, the black-coated male was radio-collared by WDFW trappers in late May 2012 and last winter left the Smackout Pack territory on the Stevens-Pend Oreille County line.

At least they can make a decision without it costing taxpayers a million before it is shot! Hope the rest wander up there! Thanks for posting something positive!

I think we are messing with genetics here.  Every wolf that goes south gets a life in luxury, every one that goes north gets shot...... ;)

Man, the way those wolves get around, they'll be feasting on King County Llamas and Alpacas in a couple of years!   :IBCOOL:

Hatchery raised wolfs compared to wild wolfs? Sounds familier as to what's happening in the rivers.
