Been seeing lots of cows, if you don't mind packing them out.  I would love to help.

My dad and I have been in there the last three days. We saw two bulls the first day and that's it...no cows yet. Hoping our luck changes. If you are willing to share any info we would appreciate it. It is our first year in there. Thanks

Take the main line up to moose junction then take the 22 road all the way to the top and you can glass for miles and should be able to pick something out. Be there at first light for your best opportunity. Also theres elk up the 0-500(walk in only) and the 0-600. Was in the bridge gate side this afternoon and seen over 40.

I really appreciate it. We drove around the 510 and 520 a lot today but didn't get in until 11:00 due to work. Plan on being in at first light tomorrow. We were on the 600 and 601 a day before yesterday. What do you mean by bridge gate side. Thanks again

Bridge gate is one of the other access points for Hancock. Unfortunately it's not the side that's open for your hunt.  Crunchy don't worry I'll keep the rest of the bot spots between us. :chuckle:

No luck today. Saw one bull at first light and one cow late afternoon but couldn't get close enough. Went high and low. Hit camp 7 area 520 600 601. Covered a lot of ground

There was a herd in front of the truck that was parked all day by the sign in shack the other day. You can hike or sit all day and come to find out you should not have left the truck!  :chuckle:

We finally saw some elk today. Two groups on the other side of the river and a few around the 510 road. No shot opportunity though. Heard someone got one around moose junction. Try again tomorrow

Love the Botflies. Funny I was just talking about them today. Although not hunting I was way up the 3 rd. into the snow today and saw no animals.

I was told by one of the guards that someone shot one on the Bridge gate side. Was pretty proud until told that it was closed there.

A buddy was in the bridge side today and said he ran into Clyde two different times but he didn't mention anything about someone shooting a cow. Was the cow shot today?

Finally got into position yesterday and had a misfire. If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all this year
