wildwood cow tag
« on: December 27, 2013, 06:19:14 PM »
My son and I drew Wildwood cow tags beginning Jan 16. Getting pretty stoked! This will be my sons first elk. We have received all the info and vehicle permits. Wish us luck, we have heard this tag was hard to fill last year. We will see about that. :IBCOOL:

Talked to another tag holder today and he said it is pretty slim pickings this year. Not seeing them like years past. Good luck.

I have talked to a few of the muzzleloader tag holders hunting now, sounds like it has been pretty slow. The few elk they have been seeing are just outside the unit boundaries.   Definitely not the hunt it used to be due to too many tags being issued but if you put your time in you should fill your tag.

I saw some elk yesterday and found a couple old guys with cow tags.  They stopped by later and they got one.  Felt good to help them out.
